The first step is to register at our Affiliate Site. To set up your affiliate account (it's free), go to:

You will be able to choose a nickname for your affiliate link (a username). This nickname is the key to getting credit for affiliate sales on our sites.

For example, if you choose to sign up with the user name of "johndoe", then YOUR web link would be http://www.diyassetprotection.com/?ref=johndoe to promote our site.

Whenever someone clicks on YOUR link to enter our site, the affiliate software recognizes that it's YOUR referral and gives you commission if the sale is made anytime thereafter for up to 180 days. You'll also be able to see how many clicks you are getting because the visit is logged in your affiliate members area.

HOW AND WHEN DO I GET PAID?

We send payments at the beginning of each month for sales that have reached what we call the Maturity Date. The Maturity date is normally 40 days after the day of the sale. This usually is enough time to allow for our shipping and any product returns under the product's 30 day money back policy.

Payments are made though PayPal (www.PayPal.com), a very large electronic transfer service. PayPal has been selected for several reasons, including:

• Security - You don't need to give out your bank account information, and we don't need to give out ours.
• Speed - Your money is available quickly. Depending on your PayPal verification level, your money can be withdrawn anywhere from immediately to within a few days... Much faster than waiting for a check to arrive.
• Zero Cost - Other affiliate programs make you pay an administrative fee to cover the mailing of checks, 3rd party fees, etc. Using our own affiliate program and PayPal as the payment method, we are able to pay your commissions without any deducted fees.
• Verification - No lost checks in the mail, no waiting for stop-payments and check re-issues. PayPal provides verification that money was sent and received.

How PayPal works
Upon receiving a payment, you're immediately notified by email that You've Got Cash. You may then log into your secure PayPal account and either request a direct deposit into your banking account, send money to someone else, or directly receive cash from an ATM if you get a PayPal debit card.

HOW MUCH MONEY CAN I MAKE?

How much money can you make? Well, that's impossible for us to predict and entirely up to you and how aggressively you promote and market the the Products. If you put highly visible links or banners on a high traffic website, the commissions can be very substantial.

MARKETING METHODS

There are several ways you can promote the APW System on your site or in your newsletter:

1) Write an endorsement about the product. By writing a short endorsement, testimonial, and/or success story about the results you achieved and sending it out to your e-mail list, the sales can be as high as double that of any other linking method.

2) Use your simple text link. Anywhere that you would put a regular link (like on your links page), simply replace the normal link with your special affiliate link that contains your nickname.

3) Use banner ads. Put banners or other graphics on high traffic pages of your website. We provide some banners and you can even design your own. Make sure your affiliate link is properly set in the banner HTML code.

4) Run "Sponsor ads" in your e-zine. If you choose, you can simply say the Product is the "sponsor" of your e-zine and place a "sponsor link" or short classified in the e-zine. (In other words, the money you earn from selling the e-book covers your publishing expenses and "makes your e-zine possible.")

5) Place short classified ads in your e-zine. A short classified ad in your e-zine is an extremely effective way to make money with this program. The more enticing and curiosity-invoking the ad is, the more people will click through and the more money you'll make. These classified ads can be as long as several paragraphs or as short as a single sentence (if it piques your reader's curiosity well). Write your own or use the sample ads below.

6) Put an ad in the products section of your website. If you already sell products from your web site, just add a section for the APW System in your "products for sale" area with an enticing description or summary of the System, then send them off to the DIY website through your affiliate link. If you don't have any products for sale yet, this could be your first. (If you have a website, you might as well be making money from it!)

Under your own members area, you'll have access to banner images, classified ads, and other sales copy that has your special link. Check your member's area often, as new banners and graphics will be added there over time.
